Dear friends of Chinese prints

One-woman show of graphic works by young Beijing artist Zhao Tianqi. Her works are in the possession of several Western embassies in Beijing.

Bidding is now open on www.artelino.com/auction/catalog.asp?evt=144. The auction will close coming Thursday, September 9 at 8:00 PM Central European Time = 2:00 PM in New York.

In springtime 2004 we had offered the works of Zhao Tianqi for the first time - all from this unusual series "Made in China". Bidding was strong and our partner in China tried to get more prints from the artist. But we learned that she was completely sold out.

Well, Zhao Tianqi is an exceptional artist. Within a few months she created a special edition just for artelino. We call it "Made in China II". Zhao Tianqi used many elements from "Made in China I", but all designs are new. And apart from one or two copies that she kept for herself, this is a one-print edition!

Please note: This week we are having three auctions all together with always two auctions open for bidding at the same time. If you have wins from more than one auction, we consolidate all into one shipment and you pay the shipment fee only for one package. On your request we also keep your wins over an extended period of several weeks, even months. And if your total wins on "hold" are at least USD 1,000 (hammered prices) we ship for free.
