Auction # 145 is open with a small but fine selection of paintings on scroll and woodblocks by Chinese artist Wang Renfeng - www.artelino.com/auction/catalog.asp. The auction will end on Thursday, November 25, at 8:00 PM = 2:00 PM in New York.

Wang Renfeng, born 1918 in China, is one of the founding fathers of modern Chinese printmaking and painting. This auction offers 6 paintings on scroll and 10 woodblocks by Wang Renfeng from as early as 1944. His works have been shown in and outside China and are represented in Chinese, Japanese and European museums. This collection was consigned by a German collector who met Renfeng when he exhibited at Tübingen University in 1987.
