Dear friends of ukiyo-e

This collection of 52 classical Edo prints by Eisen, Eishi, Hiroshige, Shunzan and others was consigned by someone who asked us not to return anything and offer everything for a flat reserve of USD 50. We advised not to, but the consignor insisted. The result is a collection of great diversity in condition and subject attraction with a reserve that is "off" for nearly all panels. Well, what can we say? Edo collectors, get your hunting rifle! ... but please don't shoot the auctioneer!
