Auction no. 108 offers modern Chinese prints by established and well known contemporary artists. Bidding is open on www.artelino.com/auction/catalog.asp.

This collection features several prints by Zhao Tianqi from her spectacular series "Made in China" - a kind of Mao pop art style. Her husband Liu Chunhai contributes several stunning, large format landscape prints. All prints are signed, numbered and dated by the artist and from small editions of 1 to only 20 copies. Other presented artists are Chen Yuqiang, Hao Boyi, Hao Ping, Lu Runeng, Ma Li (woodblock reduction prints), Shi Yi, Yang Zhongyi, Yu Chengyou, Zhang Hongxun, Zhang Yongqing, Zhang Xiaochun (woodblock reduction prints).

Buying now prints by leading contemporary artists from China is like buying prints by Japanese shin hanga artists in the late 1930s or 1940s. It is a unique chance to build up a collection that in our opinion few collectors will be able to afford in the future.
