Dear friends of Japanese prints

Auction no. 242 offers 167 original Japanese and Chinese collector prints. This auction features several valuable Hiroshige and other excellent Edo prints. Featured shin hanga artists are Paul Jacoulet, Hiroshi Yoshida, Koson Ohara and Shunsen Natori. Among modern prints friends of Paul Binnie and Sadao Watanabe will have a good time.

The auction is open for bidding on www.artelino.com/auction/catalog.asp and will end coming Sunday, December 12, 2005 at 8:00 PM local time (CET) = 2:00 PM in New York.

To our knowledge artelino is the uncontested leader in terms of sales, number of monthly auctions, volume of contents and traffic among the online auction sites specialized in Japanese prints. We regard this as an obligation to insure a continued high quality standard of our auctions and to offer our services for reasonable prices. Therefore we have introduced two major changes of our payment policy:
1. We no longer offer wire transfer/bank remittance as payment option.
2. We apply from now on a ZERO TOLERANCE policy towards bidders with credit card problems.

The auction no. 241 with original watercolors, drawings, oil paintings and pastels by Kerry Pendergrast and Pranoto from Bali has been closed, but is still on display. All unsold works are available for the reserve. These art works are excellent and very well priced. We think it is a pity that only a few bidders have participated. If you have not yet had a chance, please take a look at this auction on www.artelino.de/auction/catalog.asp?evt=264 We love especially the sensitive watercolors by Kerry Pendergrast in "oban"-size. We try hard to show you from time to time art works that is different from Japanese prints. But we can only continue such shows if we get enough demand.
