Muban Exhibition Artists - June 26, 2005

Dear friends of Chinese prints

From November 7, 2003 until March 7, 2004 an exhibition titled Chinese Printmaking Today was shown at the British Library in London, in association with the Muban Foundation. This auction offers on www.artelino.com/auction/catalog.asp nothing less than only woodblock prints by artits who were represented in this exhibition.

The auction runs over one week and will end coming Sunday, July 3 at 8:00 PM local time (CET) = 2:00 PM in New York.

The catalog of the Muban exhibition at the British Library was published as a book - "Chinese Printmaking Today". On www.artelino.com/articles/chinese-prints-books.asp you find our review of this and another book about modern Chinese woodblocks - "The Art of Contemporary Chinese Woodcuts". Both books are recommendable, and are currently a kind of standard information source for art friends of modern Chinese printmaking.
