Dear friends of Chinese Mao poster

Our second auction of Chinese propaganda posters with 30 lots plus 5 prints by Zhao Tianqi has just opened on www.artelino.com/auction/catalog.asp. Bidding is open.

Also this new collection has been made possible thanks to Chris TO, an expert collector from Hong Kong. You find his web site and other references in an article that we published on the subject on www.artelino.com/articles/chinese-propaganda-posters.asp. Chinese propaganda posters have become serious collectors objects and prices have doubled over the last year with the major demand coming from China itself.

As it fits perfectly into the theme, we added several original silkscreen prints by Zhao Tianqi, a young Beijing artist who became the talk of town with her modern images in a kind of "Mao pop art" style. These ere single edition prints and rather unique. Her print works are in the posession of the Dutch, Swiss and French embassies in Beijing.
