Japanese Woodblocks April 3, 2003
Dear friends of Japanese woodblocks
The first April auction of artelino offers 89 prints from all periods at www.artelino.com/auction/catalog.asp. Preview is now open and bidding will start Thursday, April 3 at 3:00 PM Central European Time CET (10:00 PM in Tokyo, 8:00 AM in New York). Please note that Europe jumped one hour forward last Sunday due to summer savings time.
As always, winners will get an early bird bonus of USD10 on their final invoice if at least one bid was placed within the first 24 hours.
On the last auction page you find 10 woodcuts and etchings by Franconian artist Konrad Volkart, who died in 1999. We kindly ask you to have a look at these prints - even if you are a die-hard ukiyo-e aficionado. This artist deserves your attention. The prints are well-priced and all in excellent condition. By the way, works by the artist are held by the British Museum.
kind regards
your artelino team
