Dear friends of Japanese woodblock prints

Auction # 238 offers on www.artelino.com/auction/catalog.asp 153 original Japanese prints - mostly made in woodblock technique - for collectors from all periods - from 18th century to contemporary. The auction will end coming Sunday, November 27 at 8:00 PM local time (CET) = 2:00 PM in New York.

This auction is strong in sosaku hanga. Top prints offered are a bijin print by Kiyoshi Kobayakawa, several prints by Paul Jacoulet, Hasui Kawase, Natori Shunsen, Paul Binnie and Yuji Hiratsuka.

We are currently in the last phase of an intensive security audit in order to obtain the certification for the new security standards (SDP and AIS) by MasterCard and VISA. Since last Sunday our server does no longer support access to our older SSL encryptions below the 128 bit key - just one requirement to fullfill the new standards. As a consequence one of our clients with a Windows 98 operating system could no longer access our secure pages like bidding or My Account. If you should experience the same trouble, please change the SSL options of your browser to support the highest SSL encryption standard.
