Japanese and Chinese Prints
Dear friends of Japanese and Chinese prints
Auction # 147 with abstract and still life woodblock
prints by contemporary Chinese printmaker Fang Limin
will close in less than 30 hours, Sunday December 5
at 8:00 PM = 2:00 PM in New York on
www.artelino.com/auction/catalog.asp?evt=167.
Although our Chinese print auctions are more like
small chamber concerts compared to our "big band" Japanese
events, we are very pleased and encouraged by your
increasing purchases of modern Chinese prints.
Bidding in the current Fang Limin auction beats our expectations.
For the lovers of Japanese prints, preview is now
open on www.artelino.com/auction/catalog.asp?evt=169 for
auction no. 148 with 135 lots of original Japanese print,
e-hon and 8 Chinese "guest" prints.
We raised our shipment fees slightly by November 30.
And by January 3, we will raise the buyers commission
from currently 15% to 17%. The increase has become
necessary to compensate for higher costs for security,
risk- and quality management and the lower value of
the dollar - our base currency.
The risks in online commerce and in worldwide
logistics have risen sharply over the last years.
In our view, amateur auction sites can no longer
seriously assure the safety of your credit card
or the integrity of an online auction.
We have continuously invested money, effort
and new ideas to assure that artelino keeps a
leading position among online art auctions in
quality, security and professionalism.
We feel obliged towards you, our customers,
to continue to do so.
Enjoy our web site. If you like what we do,
please buy in our auctions.
your artelino team
