E-hon Auction November 23, 2003

Dear friends of Japanese e-hon

Today at 8:00 PM local time (Central European Time) - 2:00 PM in New York - our latest e-hon auction will open. At the same time the current auction of Japanese shin hanga prints from the famous collection of Robert O. Muller (1912-2003) will end on www.artelino.com/auction/catalog.asp.

Until 8:00 PM you have the chance to acquire a woodblock print from this unique collection. If you are not familiar with the Muller collection, have a look at our article on www.artelino.com/articles/muller-collection.asp.

After 8:00 PM it should not become boring for you. The new e-hon (old illustrated Japanese books) auction has a number of goodies. For instance an original book with color illustrations by Utamaro and e-hon by Shuho Saito (rare, original), Hiroshige (first edition), all 15 volumes of "Hokusai Manga" (Meiji printing from the original blocks) as well as one early edition. Furthermore we offer a few maps from the Edo period.

And last but not least the preview for the second auction of folk art prints by master Tai Liping will start. If you do not yet have all presents for Christmas, have a look at this collection of inexpensive (starting at USD20) original and traditional Chinese prints. Bidding in artelino's auction is fun and more convenient than the hazzle of shopping in a mall.
