Contemporary Prints October 6, 2003Dear friends of contemporary prints Bidding for 90 Japanese prints will end soon on www.artelino.com/auction/catalog.asp Sunday, October 5 at 8:00 PM Central European Time (2:00 PM in New York). This auction offers a rare two floor print with 3 panels on each floor by Kunisada, a pentaptych by Kunisada, an album with 18 diptychs in excellent condition by Toshihide Migita, Osaka actor prints and lots of kuchi-e. The collection is in sort order by period with some contemporary prints by Clifton Karhu, Paul Binnie, a silkscreen by Peggy Murray and several prints from the 50s on room 8 and 9. At 8:00 PM bidding for our mini-auction of 20th century prints - signed and numbered - by best-known American and European artists will start. Reserve prices are very interesting. We encourage you to do some research on the internet like for instance for works by Donald Baechler, William Scott or Chaim Gross. Our special thanks go to the artist Donald Baechler who gave us detailed information on three prints he had made during a stay in Japan (yes - the whole consignment comes from Japan).
