Secure Transactions and Security Certificate

To protect your sensitive information and personal data, we use SSL, the encryption standard for safe transactions on the internet. Furthermore we use a secure server certificate issued by thawte©.

Certified for the PCI Security Standard of VISA and Mastercard

Since November 2005 we are certified by src GmbH for the new PCI security standard by MasterCard and VISA. This entitles us to take online submissions of your credit cards and store them online. However for your maximum protection we go one step further and do not store your credit cards permanently online.

Credit Card Handling

For your maximum protection, artelino does not store your credit card information permanently online. After receiving your credit card details, we file on paper and delete the information from our database except for the last 4 digits and the expiration date and store your card information on paper. This may take from a few minutes up to 24 hours, but typically not more than 10 hours.

Our credit card policy is simple but effective. Data that is not there, cannot be hacked.

Privacy Protection

• We do not give your name and address to any other companies or third parties.
• We do not send unsolicited e-mails or advertising letters.
• With your registration, you can opt to receive our auction reminder (standard option) - an e-mail we send out at the beginning of an auction. You can opt out at any time from our mailing list and your registration by sending it back to us with the word "artelino - delete" in the subject line.

Use of Cookies

Cookies are small data files that are sent to and stored on your PC by a web site server. We use cookies for the function Remember My Client No.. This function is optional and is required for instance to view prices in our archive of sold prints or for auction watch.
