How We Work      The First Video by artelino.

On January 9 we launched the first video on our web site - a milestone for us. It shows you how we at artelino work. Currently it is a test version. A few things like the resolution quality are still something we have to work on. If you have any feedback, let us know.

Call for Images of Japanese Junk Prints      Thursday, January 08, 2009

Condition is paramount for the value of a Japanese woodblock print. More and more worthless crap prints have shown up over the last years - first on and recently also outside Ebay in large numbers. We want to publish some educational pages about the importance of condition. The problem is that we have hardly any image material. Dear clients, if you happen to have images of junk prints with major condition problems, please send them to us by email. - Thanks for your cooperation.

10 New Videos      We are testing a new media.

Over the last two days we have published 10 more videos. They are about the Japanese printmakers Haui Kawase, Ryusei Okamoto, Osamu Sugiyma, the Chinese printmakers Xiong Xiqiu, Wen Mujiang,and Zheng Jianhui, about Kuchi-e and about aspects of Tibetan rugs. In addition to our puiblications in English (kind of) we published two videos in German - about Tibetan rugs.
