Shibaraku is a famous kabuki play. The one act story is about the fight of the good (Shibaraku) against the evil in the form of a bunch of bad guys who took innocent victims. When the situation is getting critical for their victims, the heroe pops up like batman in an impressive outfit with a terrible scream "shibaraku" (Hold it!). With his huge sword, the bad guys are slain one after the other. (The image is an art print by Paul Binnie; display by courtesy of the artist; all copyrights are held by Paul Binnie)
