Greenhill Galleries, founded by Veda Swain, was launched in Adelaide in 1972. Several years later it was realised that there was a need for a similar gallery in Perth - one that handled artists of the high calibre represented in the Adelaide branch.

Hanlin Gallery was established by Carlos Prata in Hong Kong in 1986. It is the leading specialist in fine Japanese woodblocks (Ukiyoe and Shin Hanga) and works of art such as bronzes, cloisonne, dolls, lacquer, silver, sword accessories and textiles. The Chinese collection includes decorative arts such as textiles, export silver, lacquer, fans, ivory as well as literati items such as scholar's stone seals and carvings.
Since 1964 Hans-Martin Schmitz is one of the leading dealers in Oriental art in Germany.
He specializes in netsuke, Japanese woodblock prints and paintings, Buddhist sculpture and various works of art from Japan, China and South-East Asia. Since 1970 he exhibits at the Fine Art Fairs in Cologne and at the Antiquarian Book Fair in Stuttgart.
Over seventy-years Hara Shobo Japanese Ukiyo-e Prints have been running the shop in Kanda, center of Tokyo. They are offering a vast variety of Japanese ukiyo-e prints and illustrated books from 17th to 20th century and shin hanga (modern prints).
