Risaburo KIMURA  -  born 1924      Great Cities of the World

Risaburo Kimura was born in Yokusaka in Japan. He had studied education and philosophy at the universities at Yokohama and Tokyo. In the 1960s he moved to New York and became an internationally recognized artist. His works are in all major art museums of the world like Guggenheim and Moma in New York, Kyoto City Hall, Cinncinnati Art Museum, Philadelphia Art Museum and a few more. One of his best known series is a suite titled "Great Cities of the World".
