Shoso Mishima 1856-1928

Shoso Mishima was one of the active Kuchi-e artists. He was a student of Kikuchi Yosai. His Kuchi-e prints were published in the magazine 'Bungei kurabu'. Birds and flower prints and paintings were other themes of the artist. Shoso Mishima was known to posess a Sharaku print collection. It was destroyed when his house burned down.
