Shizuo FUJIMORI  -  1891-1943      

Shizuo Fujimori was born in Fukuoka prefecture in 1891. He studied Western painting at Tokyo Art College and was befriended with printmakers of the sosaku hanga movement such as Kyokichi Tanaka and Koshiro Onchi. In 1915 Shizuo Fujimori published the print magazine "Tsukibae". The artist was a founding member of "Japan Sosaku Hanga Association".
