Kasen Ohira's given name was Masao. He studied Nihon-ga under Keigetsu Matsubayashi. He was known for his "bijin-ga" including "Twenty-four Sections of Tokyo" and "Twenty-four Examples of Charming Figures" which were published by Shinbisha in Taisho and early Showa era.
