Ichiro KOGUCHI  -  1928-1979      Sosaku Hanga Woodblocks

Ichiro Koguchi was born in Tochigi prefecture. He was an active woodblock print maker in the sosaku hanga movement with memberships in the Japan Print Artists Associations. He made the famous three part series depicting the environmental disaster of the copper mine at Mt. Ashio.
