Tamiji KITAGAWA  -  1894-1989      

Tamiji Kitagawa was born in Shizuoka prefecture in Japan. He studied art at Waseda University in Japan and at the Art Students' League in the U.S.A. After working for several years in Middle and South America, he returned to Japan in 1936 and settled down as a painter and printmaker.
