Kazuo KASAMATSU  -  1906-1970      

Kazuo KASAMATSU was born in Tokyo in 1906. After he graduated from Tokyo School of Fine Arts, he taught arts in elementary school and was freelancing for magazines and newspapers illustrations. He was a self-taught print maker. He showed his prints on and off in Nihon Hanga Kyokai exhibitions during 1927-46 and was a member in 1943-53.
