Ryugin ONODA  -  1870-1938      

Ryugin Onoda's real name was Ikuma Onoda. He was a prominent scholar of natural history and a professor at Osaka Kyoiku (education) University. He authored many natural history, natural science related books and illustrated albums. He published also the teaching manuals for the traditional brush painting.
