Donge KOBAYASHI  -  born 1927      

Donge Kobayashi was born in Tokyo, graduated from the Art College of Women. She studied the etching from Junichiro Sekino. After she got an award from Japan Print Association, she went to France to study etching in 1965-66. She received the Third Prise from Le Salon. She did numerous works for books and albums. She has been regarded as one of the most revered Japanese etching artists.
