Hitoshi NAKAZATO  -  born 1936      

Hitoshi Nakazato was born in Tokyo. After he graduated from the oil painting department of Tama Art College in 1960, he did post-graduate study in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania art colleges. He received the Rockefeller III Scholarship and worked in New York during 1966 - 1967. After he came back from USA, he became an instructor at Tama Art College. In 1971, he moved to New York and taught art at Pennsylvania Art College. He had numerous solo exhibitions in Erickson Gallery, Philadelphia, and others.
