Shunichi KADOWAKI  -  1913 - ?

Shun'ichi Kadowaki was born in Kagawa prefecture. Because he studied art in Europe, he remained outside of the mainstream of Sosaku Hanga. Helen Merritt mentions one exhibition of his works at mitsukoshi department store at Nihonbashi in 1963. He also worked for the Taisei Corporation making brightly colored and highly varied depictions of scenes in contemporary Japan.

Select by first name, for instance "H" for Hiroshige, Hokusai, Harunobu etc.
