Kimiko KOJIMA  -  born 1942      

Kimiko Kojima was born in Okazaki City Aichi prefecture, Japan. When she was 16 years old, her picture of a honeymoon couple traveling to the moon won the third prize in the contest of the space pictures sponsered by UNESCO. She has had one-woman shows in several galleries in Tokyo as well as Nagoya, Canada and the United States. She had her solo-shows in Ginza during 1970 - 2002 every year. Also Kojima has won awards as the most promising artist in the 80's. She was very attracted by the works by Biasley that she started producing black and white art works.
