Ling YI  -  born 1954      Yunnan Art School

Ling Yi was born in Qujing City. Ling learned painting by himself, just by copying the works of old masters. In this way he acquired free style painting with profound proficiency of traditional skills. Now he is director of Qujing Artist's Association and the director of Qujing Chinese Painting Committee. His works have been shown in many national and international exhibitions and won the prize of excellence of the "Heaven Palace Cup", the "Dragon Cup" and other exhibitions. His works have been collected by the Palace Museum and the Nangjing Museum and were published in more than ten painting albums.
