Toshijiro Inagaki graduated in 1922 from the Kyoto City School of Fina Arts and Crafts. He became a famous designer for expensive kimono patterns. In 1962 his art and craftswork as a kimono designer was declared an Intangible Cultural Property. In the 1950s he designed several woodblock prints, which were published by Mikumo Mokuhansha in Kyoto.
