Harue KOGA  -  1895-1933      Student of Hakutei Ishii

Harue Koga was born into a Buddhist family in Fukuoka prefecture in 1895. He studied watercolors under ISHII Hakutei. Around 1920, his works started to show the elements of abstract and religious tones influenced by Cezanne and Paul Klee. He produced many commercial illustrations for children's books.
