Takanori Kinoshita 1894-1973

Takanori Kinoshita was born in Tokyo. He did not attend a formal art school but started western style oil painting by his friends' influence. Later, His paintings were selected for the French Salon d'Automne while he studied painting in France. Takanori Kinoshita received an award by Nikaten and became a founding member of Issuikai. He was also a jury member of Nitten.
