Takumasa Ono was born in 1959 in Tokyo. He is known in Japan as a painter and printmaker and environmental protection activist. He has exhibited widely in Japan, the USA and the UK. The artist is proud to be the first print artist in Japan to invent and apply a method to produce silkscreen prints without using chemicals harmful to the environment. Favorite subjects of Takumasa Ono are nature and landscapes.
