Chen Yongle is a leading artist of the Yunnan Art School. He works in the technique of reduction woodblock prints with thick oil-based colors. His print formats are usually large. His favorite subjects are women of the Yunnan ethnic minorities in colorful costumes. Chen Yongle has exhibited widely inside and outside of China.
