Rinsai UTSUSHI  -  active 1869-1890      Kacho-e

Rinsai Utsushi was a printmaker active in Tokyo and specialized in kacho-e, images of the natural world of birds and flowers. He had developped a style of his own, very decorative and appealing. Most of his prints were published in sets and in volume form.
