Harumi TATEISHI  -  1906-1994      Bijin Painter

Harumi Tateishi was a pupil of the great master Ito Shinsui. In Japan he is well known for paintings and prints of bijin (beautiful women) in Shin Hanga style. Works of the artist are shown in Tateishi Harumi Commemorative Museum and the Saga Prefecture Museum.
