Zhang HONGXUN  -  born 1957      Surreal Creativity in Strong Colors

Zhang Hongxun began his art studies in the Fine Art Department of the Central National Academy and graduated in 1987. Presently he is director of photography of Nongkeng Newspaper, in Heilongjiang province. The artist won the golden prize of the 13th and 14th national prints exposition of China. Birds and leaves are Zhang Hongxun's favourites. He draws them in fresh colours and with a lot of imagination.
