Orizo HATANO  -  1908-?      

Orizo Hatano was born in Kanagawa prefecture. He studied design at Kanagawa Technical school and woodblock print with Azechi Umetaro. He started making woodblock prints in 1930. He exhibited with Nihon hanga Kyokai during 1935-37. He contributed to Shin Hanga shudan, Zokei Hanga Kyokai, Kokugakai. Works included "Anchored Ships" 1942.
