Georges BRAQUE  -  1882-1963      

Georges Braques is a French painter and contemporary of Pablo Picasso. After meeting Picasso he gave up his Fauvism style and developed cubism with Picasso and Juan Gris. During World War I Georges Braque was wounded. In 1962 the Louvre in Paris had a great solo exhibition in honor of Georges Braque.
