Charles Lapicque is a French painter, sculptor and printmaker. His original careeer is that of an engineer of machinery. He started painting as an autodidact. In 1943 he abandoned his original profession to devote himself entirely to his art work. His prints and paintings are characterized by bright colors and dynamique compositions. His works were exibitioned at the Centre Pompidou in Paris and are to be found in many French museums.
