Alexander CALDER  -  1898-1976      

Alexander Calder, born in Philadelphia in 1898, worked as a painter, sculptor and printmaker. From 1915 to 1918 he studied in New York at an engineering collage and later worked as an engineer for 5 years. His art works were exibited at the world exibitions in Paris 1937 and New York 1938. Today his works can be found in all renowned museums all over the world.
