Louis Haghe was a Belgian litograph and water color artist. Most of the time he lived and worked in England. From one of his frequent travels to continental Europe he came back with a rich collection of architectural scetches and drawings. He later published them from 1840 to 1850 in three series entitled "Scetches in Belgium and Germany".
