Utamaro II KITAGAWA  -  died 1831      

Utamaro II was a pupil of Utamaro I with the name of Koikawa Shuncho. He is believed to have worked very closely for Utamaro Kitagawa in his late years. After the master's death he married the widow and adopted the master's name. He created woodblock prints in the style of Utamaro I over an extended period and signed them with the same go until ca. 1820.
