Kuniteru UTAGAWA - 1808-1876 Pupil of Kunisada and Toyokuni

Kuniteru Utagawa

Kuniteru was born in Edo (Tokyo). He was a pupil of Kunisada and of Toyokuni. His style is in the tradition of the Utagawa school. Kuniteru was active in book illustrations and single-sheet ukiyo-e with a wide variety of subjects.
