Hokushu SHUNKOSAI - fl. ca. 1810-1832 Leading Osaka Printmaker and Paper Shop Owner
Hokushu owned a paper store in Osaka. He is said to have learned printmaking as a pupil of Hokusai. Hokushu also made many book illustrations. During his lifetime he was considered as the leading printmaker in Osaka.
