Toshimine TSUTSUI  -  1863-1934      Pupil of Yoshitoshi Taiso

Toshimine Tsutsui was born in Hyogo prefecture. He must have been a pupil of Yoshitoshi Taiso as his name is inscribed on the memorial of the great Meiji master. The artist worked as kuchi-e illustrator and for newspapers and magazines like "Bungei kurabu".
