Yoshihei TAKEDA  -  1892-1989      

Yoshihei Takeda was born in Hida Takayama in Gifu prefecture. He taught hanga at Yamamoto kanae's Farmers' Art Movement Institute in 1920. He moved to Nakatsu city in Oita prefecture and taught painting in high school and junior college. A contributor of "One Hundred Views of New Japan" in 1940. Member of Shin Hanga Shudan, Nihon Hanga Kyokai, 1936 - 1960. His works are in the collections of Tokyo National Modern Art Museum, Wakayama Prefectural Modern Art Museum, etc.
