Mr.Wang Weide was born in 1944 in Guyuan city of Ningxia province. The artist specialized in oil paintings and in woddblock prints. Wang Weide is one of the leading Chinese artists in this field. His most recent success is the participation in the 11th National Art Exhibition of China which was held from September 28 until October 12 at the Art Museum of Jiangsu province, in Nanjing city.

Yin Xiurong is a former student of Chinese contemporary artist Wen Mujiang. Now graduated, she works with her former teacher in their studio. In July and August Yin Xiurong made a woodblock print series in cooperation with Wen Mujiang. The title of the series is "Women Flower".

In August of 2009 we received a 20 minute footage video by Chinese printmaker and painter Zhu Rui. We cut it to a 5 minute video demonstrating how Zhu Rui carves a reduction woodblock print and how he prints a copy. If you should happen to be interested in art prints, and especially in Chinese woodblock prints, you should take a look at the video. It is a gorgeous document how contemporary Chinese woodblock artists work.
