Description "Yamato no Koji - no.2" (Yamato - Alley no.2): A man wearing a jacket, on which "Alley old town" is printed, is walking with his bicycle in an alley.
Ryohei Tanaka is one of the leading etching artists in Japan. His etchings which were produced by fine almost countless shades and textures by a needle point, convey the soft, luminous looks seldom seen in this media.
The prints by Ryohei Tanaka are in the permanent collections of all the leading museums in the world including The Metropolitan Museum, The British Museum, The Cleveland Museum of Art.
Signature "T. Ryohei" in pencil on the lower margin.
