The art of Yuji Hiratsuka is a sophisticated, usually witty - and sometimes a bit enigmatic - synthesis of Eastern and Western culture. Yuji Hiratsuka was born in Japan, but has permanently settled in the U.S.A. in Oregon, where he teaches printmaking art at the University of Portland. His artwork is highly esteemed and praised by art critics, museum curators and other art professionals. |
